NETWORKING SCRIPTS - PART 2

🫥 One of the challenges of networking is that we don't know what to say and how to act.

👑My name is Katie Lipp, I'm a Virginia + DC employment lawyer, law firm owner of Lipp Law, and business mentor for female lawyers + entrepreneurs through my brand Law Practice Queen.

➡️Networking is a primary tool that has allowed me to build my businesses and relationships.

🧠While reading the below script, keep in mind the goal of networking.

🌍The goal of networking is to build up a business + personal brand goodwill bank that you can draw from in the future.

💰In order to build up a goodwill bank, you need to make relationship deposits.

✅You need to approach your networking partner with a partnering, helpful mindset on how you can help them.

➡️Also, it's important to note what networking is NOT.

👎Networking is not sales prospecting, pitching, or soliciting for a job interview.

✅Networking is to see how you can assist your networking partner.

➡️Now for the networking script to use when you have already had your networking session with your networking partner, and you want to sustain the relationship by providing them with resources.

🗣️You'll want to bring up the resources in the networking session and ask if your networking partner would find them useful.

🚫Don't just send resources without asking your networking partner about them first - you want to save your time and theirs.
