The Unchosen One

It can feel awful when a potential client doesn't pick you as their lawyer.

I've been there.

You can feel like:

-You bombed the intake call
-They didn't trust you
-You didn't know the right things to say

Speaking with potential clients can be so nerve wracking, especially if you have so much riding on the outcome of the call.

This is the key.

DETACH from the outcome of the interaction.

Whether or not someone picks you as their lawyer, doesn't have a bearing on whether you are a good lawyer.

Or a good person.

Even if you get rejected by the next 10 potential clients, this doesn't mean you are bad.

It doesn't have ANY bearing on your worth as a person.

What it does give you is valuable feedback.

Each potential client call is a chance to learn more about who you are a good fit for, and how you can better serve your ideal potential client base.

If you are a law firm owner, and you are putting yourself out there, helping your ideal clients, and continuing to put one foot in front of the other...

I see you.

Keep. Going.

That's your pep talk for the day.

I am placing some other helpful sales resources in the comments for you.

I love you.
