Take Your Vacation Days

In 2018, I took a much-needed vacation to the Florida Keys.

At this time, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do next with my legal career.

I was exhausted, burned out, and just wanted to work from home in sweatpants.

Unfortunately, the legal industry took a minute to catch up to other industries when it came to working remotely.

It just took a life shattering pandemic to convince the legal industry that we are capable of making phone calls and checking emails at home.

Anyways...where was I? ⬇️

Ah yes, the Florida Keys.

It was in the Florida Keys where I gave my mind permission to wander.

To dream.

Maybe I could start my own business.

I had clients, but could I do it?

5 years later, the answer is a resounding yes.

I did it.
