Setting Boundaries

I have a set time I stop working for the day.

5:30pm.

Get up from the desk, walk away, make the transition from attorney work to mom and wife.

This is something that my psychiatrist recommended as a way to help with my anxiety and depression.

Sometimes, we need to have a schedule.

Especially as lawyers.

We tend to overwork and glorify placing the client as the number one priority.

But let us not forget, you have to put your mask on first.
