NETWORKING SCRIPTS - PART 1
🫥 One of the challenges of networking is that we don't know what to say and how to act.
😀 My name is Katie Lipp, I'm a Virginia + DC employment lawyer, law firm owner, and business mentor for female lawyers + entrepreneurs.
🙌 Networking is a primary tool that has allowed me to build my businesses and relationships.
🎯 While reading the below script, keep in mind the goal of networking.
🏦 The goal of networking is to build up a business + personal brand goodwill bank that you can draw from in the future.
💰 In order to build up a goodwill bank, you need to make relationship deposits.
👯 You need to approach your networking partner with a partnering, helpful mindset on how you can help them.
➡️ Some have called this a servant mindset, but I use partnering because we are all on the same level.
🌍 We all are born, live, and will eventually die.
🧠 Any perceived social hierarchies are manufactured by our egos in a desperate attempt at self importance.
💻 Now for the networking script. This assumes you are reaching out for cold networking on LinkedIn.
