Fake Labels We Place on Ourselves

As a business coach and legal advisor, one of the things that I notice most about my clients is the false stories that my clients tell about themselves.

The fake labels that people place on themselves. Examples are:

"My life is a mess." - Not it's not, you are just perceiving it that way. Your life is objectively amazing by all measurements. Your mental state is a mess, though.

"I'm bad at cooking." - No you aren't, you just never learned. If you invested the time to practice cooking you would be a fine cook.

Your thoughts and the things you say about yourself are not reality or the truth.

Sometimes, the stories that your mind tells you are 100% FALSE.

Observe your thoughts with detached non-judgmental energy and know that some thoughts are trying to protect you, but you can disregard them.

If you believe your automatic negative thoughts, this can be unproductive and harmful for your mental health.

Learn to be an objective watcher of your thoughts and see what changes take place in your life.
