Check on Your Strong Friends
2020 and onward have shown many of us tough times. Now the media attention has shifted from COVID-19 to the war in Ukraine. It can feel helpless watching innocent civilians fight for their homes and their lives.
Meanwhile, all of us have been doing our best to work, raise up families, have a social life, exercise, maintain homes, cook meals, and do all the things that keep everything running amidst the chaos.
It can be a lot.
In tough times, it’s more important than ever that we stay connected, and help one another.
Please, check on your strong friends.
Stay up. Stand together. And if you are struggling, tell someone you trust, and get help. If you need help in the States with the process of finding a mental health provider, consider contacting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
