Why I Started My Own Law Firm

After being in the legal industry for a decade, I decided the law firm mold was not serving me.

I successfully built my employment practice at a large law firm but didn’t have “time” to focus on caring for myself or my family and spent much of my free time either sick or stressed out.

So I made changes.

In 2018, I put my self-care FIRST. I sought help and was diagnosed with postpartum depression and anxiety. I received, and continue to receive, amazing support to manage my self-care needs. I am free from all substances, except caffeine. #sorrynotsorry #coffeeislife

  • In October 2018, I decided I would start my own law firm. I became obsessed with mastering my mindset and designing my ideal life.

  • In July 2019, I launched Lipp Law with myself and a paralegal, and added a new attorney in my first month. Our first attorney leads our firm's litigation team.

  • In August, I began writing a new book on how to start a law firm. I’m excited to share it and will keep you posted on its progress!

  • In September, I added another attorney, who leads our firm's transactions practice.

  • In October, I expanded my consulting services to include attorney and law firm coaching. I assist my clients with attracting their ideal clients, building a book of business, and designing their ideal law practice.

I am living the ideal life I mapped out back in October 2018, and would like to pass that freedom along to other attorneys.
