When Do You Need Workplace Boundaries
When do you need workplace boundaries?
Always.
I start my workday around 9 ...
and that’s ok.
I end my workday around 5... (sometimes earlier!)...
and that’s ok.
I don’t check my work emails at night...
and that’s ok.
I don’t take client calls on Fridays...
and that’s ok.
If a new potential client has a deadline tomorrow, I decline representation, and that’s ok.
Boundaries are CRITICAL to have a long-lasting career.
Never apologize or feel less than for not:
💎 Working 24/7
💎 Unplugging on nights and weekends
💎 Chasing billable hours
PS: Two chapters in my book, Build Your Empire: A Law Firm Owner’s Survival Guide to the Private Legal Industry, address boundaries and work-life balance tips that can help.
