Three Years Sober

June 2019 is my sober month.

This month, I’ve reached the milestone of 3 years sober from alcohol.

I launched my law firm, Lipp Law, in July 2019, and I’ve never needed a glass of red wine to “survive entrepreneurship.” This has always been a personal choice, and I support anyone else's decision to have their own relationship with alcohol.

I got sober because I was tired of waking up hungover, anxious, and out of sorts.

I hated that gnawing feeling of waking up and not remembering everything from the night before.

I craved real, quality sleep.

I was tired of getting sick every week.

This milestone means a lot to me, and I hope it inspires someone out there to evaluate their relationship with alcohol. Of course, I don't want you to be hard on yourself if your path is different. Many of my friends and family drink, and I don't judge them for that.

Getting sober doesn’t mean that all my problems or challenges have disappeared. They are still there, but with this new sobriety toolkit, I'm better able to face them, fully present.

I can be fully there for my family. My Lipp Law clients. My Law Practice Queen readers.

No regrets.

Thanks for celebrating this one with me, friends.
