Are You Using This Motivation Tip?
Don't force it.
Earlier in my career, I would grind all day. I wouldn't take real breaks. I thought the only way to success was to do the most. (Spoiler alert, I burned out).
While there can be a time and place for hard work, that type of work style wasn't sustainable for me.
I tried to force it when I really wasn't feeling it. Gotta pay the bills, right?
But now, if I'm not feeling motivated, I don't force things.
I scale back.
I listen to my body.
Usually, my lack of motivation comes from many different things, like:
-Crazy stuff going on around the world and I'm feeling overwhelmed
-I'm sleep deprived and need to get back on a normal sleep schedule
-Regular fluctuations in motivation throughout the month (totally normal!)
Take the pressure off, and don't force it.
You're not a robot.
Enjoy the ride, and don't be so hard on yourself.
You are doing enough.
